This short, 2-hour course is your first step into Fab Lab Baltimore. It introduces you to the lab’s equipment, safety guidelines, and basic procedures. Completion of this course is required to access a Fab Lab Membership. You will:
VOB 042: "3D Printer Applications"
This course is designed to provide students with a comprehensive introduction to Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) 3D printing, one of the most widely adopted additive manufacturing technologies. It covers the essential principles, equipment, and materials involved in FDM printing, empowering students to confidently operate FDM 3D printers within a Fab Lab environment for their personal or professional projects. By the end of this course, students will possess a solid understanding of FDM 3D printing, equipping them with the practical knowledge and confidence to bring their own 3D printing projects to life.
